GovHack 2019 – Hacking Complete!

​​​GovHack 2019 was held on 6-8 September this year, with events across Australia and New Zealand.

Queensland led the way with 178 participants at 6 different locations, including:

  • Brisbane
  • Gold Coast
  • Mackay
  • Peregian Beach
  • Rockhampton and
  • Sunshine Coast.

Participation in GovHack increased this year with over 880 people attending the hackathon across Australia.

The Queensland Government contributed by creating six unique challenge questions for participants to solve. You can view these challenges and watch the challenge video here.

In total, 115 entries were submitted for these challenges. Judging is already underway, and the winners will be announced at the Queensland State Awards on Friday 25 October.
